CleanerMaid (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides file-cleaning features that help users identify and remove unnecessary data such as ad cache, outdated APK files, residual files, and temporary data. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, what rights you have, and how you can exercise them. This document also includes the End User License Agreement (EULA).
1. Data Collection & Processing
CleanerMaid performs all file-scanning and cleaning operations locally on your device. We do not collect, store, upload, or transmit your personal files or personal data to our servers. However, we may integrate third-party services for limited purposes as explained below.
2. Third-Party Services
CleanerMaid may interact with the following types of third-party platforms:
- A. Attribution Platforms We may use attribution services to understand app installs and prevent fraudulent activity. These platforms may collect anonymous device identifiers, but no personal files or content.
- B. Analytics Platforms Analytics services may help us understand general usage patterns such as screen views or feature interactions. These services do not have access to your personal files.
- C. Firebase Services Certain Firebase modules (such as Crashlytics or Analytics) may be used to ensure app stability and improve user experience. Firebase may collect: Crash logs Basic device information Diagnostic data Firebase does not have access to your personal content scanned within Clearix Cleaner.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except as described above (analytics, attribution, Firebase). We do not sell personal data under any circumstance. If data is ever shared with third-party processors, it is shared only for operational purposes and never includes your personal device files. You have the right to know whether your data is shared or sold, and we clearly confirm that CleanerMaid does not sell data.
6. Your Privacy Rights
- A. Right to Access You may request information about any personal data processed through third-party services (e.g., analytics logs).
- B. Right to Correction If any data associated with your account (e.g., analytics identifiers) is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request correction.
- C. Right to Deletion You may request deletion of any personal data collected by third-party platforms (e.g., Firebase analytics logs). Because CleanerMaid does not store personal data on its own servers, most device-based data is deleted directly through the App’s cleaning tools.
- D. Right to Opt-Out of Sharing or Selling You may choose not to allow sharing of analytics or attribution data by disabling analytics inside the App settings or adjusting device-level ad personalization settings.
- E. Right to Know if Data Is Shared or Sold We will clearly inform you upon request whether any data has been shared with third-party processors. As stated above, data is never sold.
- F. Right to File a Complaint If you believe your rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
7. Data Retention
Diagnostic and analytics data (if collected) may be retained for up to 24 months, unless the user requests earlier deletion. No personal device files scanned through CleanerMaid are uploaded or stored by us; therefore, they are not retained by the company. Cache logs for debugging purposes may be retained only as long as needed for technical analysis.
8. User Control & Opt-Out Options
Users may opt out of third-party data collection by: Disabling analytics within the app settings (if available) Adjusting device-level privacy settings Contacting our DPO for data-related requests Requesting deletion of analytics identifiers
9. Children’s Privacy
CleanerMaid is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or local equivalent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Security Measures
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed through third-party platforms. File-scanning operations remain strictly local and never transmitted.
11. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in regulations or app functionality. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website.
12. End User License Agreement (EULA)
By downloading or using CleanerMaid, you agree to the following terms:
- A. License Grant We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use CleanerMaid solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- B. Ownership All rights, trademarks, and intellectual property related to the App belong to the developer. You may not modify, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or reproduce the App.
- C. Restrictions You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, interfere with the functionality of the App, or attempt unauthorized access to its components.
- D. No Warranty The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, including guarantees of accuracy or reliability.
- E. Limitation of Liability We are not liable for damages arising from use of the App, including accidental file deletion performed by the user.
- F. Termination We may terminate your license if you violate the terms of this Agreement.
